Circular path around Lake Hennesee (A8)

Always follow the hiking trail sign "A8". From the parking lot at Hennedamm Hotel, you go through an underpass to Hennedamm. Here you pass directly by the hiking board, which shows the hiking trails around Hennesee. Once you reach Hennedamm, turn left and cross the dam. Then continue to the right along the shore. The path on the eastern shore of Hennesee leads along the asphalted and relatively flat lakeside path. This path is car-free and a popular walking route - always with a view of Hennesee. At Westfer, you then go uphill and through a forest. Once at the top, there is a fantastic view of Hennesee before returning to the lakeshore. The path is consistently marked with the sign "A8".
