Wildalpjoch-Überschreitung

At 1720m, the Wildalpjoch is one of the higher mountains in the Mangfallgebirge, but stands in the shadow of its prominent neighbor, the Wendelstein - it entices us with a bold rocky structure, which can still be easily reached by experienced mountain hikers via small paths and trails. There are a few rocky sections where you will need to use your hands briefly. The tour is varied and can also be done as a bike & hike tour - as far as the Larcheralm via the Larcheralm road.

Attention: In winter, the path below the Wildalpjoch leads through a forest/wildlife sanctuary, so this tour may only be done from April to November! However, the approach to the summit via the western saddle between Seewand and Wildalpjoch is accessible all year round.
