The approx. 45-minute ascent begins in Josefstal in the Schliersee district of Neuhaus. The cleared forest path is also suitable for families with children. Behind the Alpenhof inn, there is a wooden bridge on the left over a small stream. Continue straight on uphill here. After a few minutes, the path leads through a wooded area. After approx. 25 minutes you reach the start of the toboggan run and the new Spitzingsee road. The descent is quite beautiful.
