We start our hike in Schliersee at the train station, walk to the main road, turn right and soon follow Leitnerstraße uphill. From here, the path is signposted; at the valley station of the cable car, we keep to the right and follow Dekan-Maier-Straße further uphill. Soon we leave the last houses of Schliersee behind us and the path leads uphill in serpentines - fantastic views included. Once you reach the top, you can reward yourself with a well-earned break and soak up the sun! The way back follows the ascent route - or you can take the gondola!
