You start in the village center Oesterweg in front of the fire station and walk past the kindergarten towards "Neue Hessel". The hiking trail leads you past the former weir of the Lindhorst mill to the Milky Way. There, the "Bruchbach" flows into the "Neue Hessel" after crossing the "Oberwiesengraben". Continue upstream to the Hakenstraße, then back to the village center at a fishing pond and later past the Oesterweger Heimathaus.
