Damwild-Runde barrierearm

The accessible fallow deer loop is one of 16 accessible trails in Schönbuch Nature Park that can be used by wheelchair users and families with children.

The circular trail is signposted in both directions.

An accompanying person is recommended.

A well-paved parking lot at the Herrenberg forest cemetery is the starting point of the circular trail to the fallow deer enclosure.

The trail contains a few slight inclines and declines, but these are easy to manage. The path surface is finely gravelled and well surfaced throughout. The trail circles the Herrenberg forest cemetery and passes the fallow deer enclosure. The "Entenseele" biotope is also located along the path.There are several places to sit along the path.

After a walk, the Naturfreundehaus Herrenberg on the other side of the road (crossing aid available) invites you to take a leisurely break (barrier-free access to the terrace and dining room; barrier-free toilet). The opening hours of the Naturfreundehaus can be found at www.nfh-herrenberg.de
