The Celtic Trail route offers a varied route through light-flooded deciduous forests with wonderful views of the low mountain range landscape of the Sankt Wendel region and its "local mountain", the Schaumberg in Tholey. In addition to the Celtic burial mounds, which are located slightly off the route, the cultural monuments and tourist sites along the route are particularly worth seeing, such as the miner's cross with a replica of a mine shaft (also the starting point) and the Marian shrine "Härtelwald" with a water tap and Kneipp facility.
