Bahnradweg Sankt Wendeler Land

The new family-friendly Sankt Wendeler Land railroad cycle path now runs where railroads once pulled their wagons along the tracks. With a length of 30 kilometers and a flat route, it connects the 3 municipalities of Freisen, Nohfelden and Nonnweiler, each of which welcomes cyclists with an impressive entrance gate. The starting point is in Freisen, from where there is also a direct connection to the Fritz Wunderlich cycle path to Kusel. There are a total of 17 rest areas along the route, which invite you to linger and relax, while the youngest cyclists can let off steam on the railway-themed play equipment. You can also expand your knowledge of railroad history and natural landscapes using the information boards along the way.
