Donau-Zollernalb-Weg - Gesamtroute von Beuron über Albstadt zum Lemberg

The Danube-Zollernalb Trail takes us through the heart of the Swabian Alb: from Beuron through the Danube and Lauchert valleys across the Alb plateau to the Upper Schlichemtal valley.

This trail, which has been awarded the title "Quality Trail Hikeable Germany", is an absolute highlight in terms of scenery. The Alb plateau offers impressive views as far as the Alps and the Black Forest. But there is also no shortage of historical and cultural highlights. There are numerous monasteries, castles, fortresses and ruins along the route that are well worth discovering. If you want to explore these in more detail on the hike, you should take shorter stages or take a rest day or two. After all, a visit to the historic small towns around the hiking trail is always worthwhile.

Depending on your personal preferences, the Danube-Zollernalb Trail can be divided into around ten daily stages.
