Eggebek-Treene-Tour

9 km - 1:45 h | Starting point: Parking lot opposite REWE, Hauptstr. 55, 24852 Eggebek

Start your hike at the parking lot with a view of the thatched pastorate building of the Eggebek/Jörl parish. From the parking lot, walk for several kilometers on the left along the main road towards Kleinjörl. Outside the village on the right-hand side is the former air base, which belonged to the Friedrich Wilhelm Lübke barracks of the German army in Tarp. After 1.6 km, you can take a detour to the left to Arche Park, which is approx. 700 meters away (opening times by arrangement). After 2.4 km, turn left onto Jerrisbeker Weg and follow this in the direction of Sollerup. At the "Am Toft" fork, take a sharp left onto a country lane. After the bench, turn right and cross the Treene. Here you have the opportunity to cool off at the bathing area. Now keep to the right for approx. 400 meters and walk along the Treene. Keep left at a fork and you will see a sign for the horseshoe path behind you. After a while, you will come to another fork and keep left on the path. Follow this path to the next fork and continue left until you come to the Stapelholmer Weg. Continue along this path to the left. You will now come to a picnic seating area where you can take a short break. Continue along the Stapelholmer Weg past the waterworks and then turn left onto a path. At the end of this path, turn left. When you reach the turning hammer in Bachstraße, continue left on the cycle and footpath until you reach a boulder. Turn left there. At the end of the path, continue right. At the fork, turn left onto the main road. Follow this road to the right towards the village until you reach your starting point.
