Goldsteig S 18 Landshuter Haus – Lalling

Another ascent would lead to the Breitenauriegel, but the alternative, which the Goldsteig takes, leads along the boardwalk through the moor, an interesting and diverse biotope. On the rest of the route - which is on natural forest paths - the legendary "Wooden Hand" awaits hikers at a large fork with a rest area and then a golf course. The parking lot next door offers a magnificent view to the south. The rest of the forest route is also extremely attractive and takes the hiker into the Lallinger Winkel, more precisely to the village of Datting. Time seems to stand still here: Old farmhouses, village country life, the likes of which are hard to find elsewhere. And in the next village, Gerholling, another gem of typical old farmhouse architecture will amaze you. The Goldsteig trail then leads hikers almost exclusively downhill to Lalling: they have arrived in Lallinger Winkel, the "fruit bowl" of Eastern Bavaria.
