The start is in the center of Haibühl. Via Schwarzhölzlstraße, the trail follows the Ar5/Ar7 hiking markings and the "St. Wolfgang" pilgrimage trail to Hinterhaibühl. Continue along the cleared forest road to the Way of the Cross, then follow an approx. 300 m long trail from the Way of the Cross to Kolmstein. Worth seeing here is the pilgrimage chapel, the Kolmsteiner Kircherl, on the former plague cemetery. The ascent is rewarded with a stop at the Kolmsteiner Hof. The return journey follows the same route.
