Winterwanderweg am Drachensee

The start of the 4.4 km long winter hiking trail is at the DLRG building (parking lot available). Here we follow the blue signs and walk along the paved path past the beach volleyball court and the fish nature trail. After approx. 1.3 km, turn right onto the road, please take care, continue past the Bohmann joinery towards Blätterberg. Here we go slightly uphill to the right past the Mühlbauer estate, then uphill again and take the next right past the Utz estate. We walk on and then come to the beautiful panoramic trail, where we have a bird's eye view of the Drachensee lake, the Cerchov, the highest mountain in Bohemia and the town of Furth im Wald. Continue downhill to the right, please take care as it is very icy from time to time, and turn right again to our starting point, the DLRG building. As the winter hiking trail is partly on roads with little traffic, increased caution is required and walking is at your own risk and responsibility.
