After the starting point at the Arrach tourist information office, follow Lamer Straße for a short distance in the direction of Arracher Hof. Before the Arracher Hof, turn left uphill into Sperlgasse. After approx. 500 m, follow the markings (also Ar6) to the right. Continue along a meadow path, later a forest path and a small ascent to reach the hamlet of Simmereinöd. From here, the trail becomes steeper over the Hullereben to the Steinbühler Gesenke on the ridge of the Kaitersberg, where the Goldsteig hiking trail runs.
