Gibacht-Kirschbaumriegel-Tour

From the "Festwiese" starting point, head towards the town center to the cemetery. After the war memorial, turn left onto a country lane, reach the valley of the Kalten Pastritz and after a short while the golf course. Following a forest path, the tour leads up to Voithenberg Castle. Here you follow the signs to a large parking lot, which you cross. Then follow a long, ascending forest path that turns into short trails. After this ascent, you reach the Glaskreuz. Now it's downhill to the Gibacht cross-country ski center. Here there is a short ascent on a forest path. From the Gibacht inn, follow the steep asphalt road downhill to Althütte. Be careful, as the route branches off sharply to the left approx. 100 meters after entering the village and leads to the main road. When you reach the road connecting Waldmünchen and Furth im Wald, turn left towards Furth im Wald and stay on this road for approx. 1.5 km. When you reach the signpost, take a sharp right and let your bike roll down a forest road. At the next forest road, follow the signs to the left and pedal comfortably along a forest road to Lixenried. In the village, follow the signs up to Kirschbaumriegel and ride downhill on a trail to the end of the forest. Here you cycle left along the asphalt road, which later turns into a gravel path, to the district of Stieberg. Cycle along the foot of the Voithenberg over a bridge to the forest nature trail. Turning right, you soon reach the main road, which you cross and the tour leads back to the starting point "Festwiese" via a short section of forest.
