Zwerchecker Steig

Shortly after the start in Lohberg at an altitude of around 650 meters, the trail leads past the war memorial in Sommerau before climbing steadily up the Zwerchecker Steig towards Scheibensattel. From Scheiben, the trail climbs up rooty paths to the summit of the Zwercheck at 1,333 meters. The "Naturkino" is located in the immediate vicinity of the summit. From the box seats, hikers are presented with an oversized "screen" with a panoramic view of the entire mountain range opposite. The way back is via the hamlet of Oberhaiderberg back to the starting point in Lohberg. Refreshments: in the village of Lohberg
