Verbindungsloipe Althütte - Gibacht, DSV-zertifiziert

Classic and skating; At Berghof Gibacht at the service building, a connecting trail leads through a forest aisle in serpentines down to the starting point at Althütte. This section has a length of 0.9 kilometers with an altitude difference of 86 meters. This tour can also be followed from Althütte in the direction of Gibacht. A further note: there are also rescue points on the markings which should be indicated in an emergency (Text: Karl Reitmeier). Together with the towns of Furth im Wald and Waldmünchen and the Czech region of Domažlicko, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working to develop the quality of the cross-country ski trail network in the Upper Bavarian Forest/Bohemian Forest in recent years. The trails have been certified as a cross-border DSV nordic active center according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system and equipped with information boards.
