Schwarzlaichmoor

The circular route initially runs through the Hohenpeißenberg district of Hetten until the road branches off at a small wayside shrine to the hamlet of Buchschorn, which is already visible. From there, the route follows partly asphalted and partly gravel paths around the beautiful moorland area to Hohenbrand. Walkers pass through lush green meadows and fields as well as short sections of forest along the way. From Hohenbrand, the path - accompanied by a beautiful view of Hetten and the Hoher Peißenberg - leads eastwards to the first houses of Hohenpeißenberg. The route then follows the main road back to Hetten. Here you can enjoy a leisurely stop at Gasthof Hetten or take a detour to the nearby bathing lake with sunbathing lawn, benches and children's playground, which is also worthwhile in less midsummer temperatures.

Author's tip: The nearby bathing lake is a wonderful place to relax in summer and winter alike!
