Short hike through the Schongau forest with lots of informative information boards about the forest and its inhabitants.

Way description: The Forchet recreation area is located in the south of the town. Starting from the parking lot in Zugspitzstraße, four information boards on a circular route provide information about nature in Schongau's Forchet. They describe different tree species or, for example, which animals live in a dead tree trunk.

Many gravelled circular paths invite you to go hiking, jogging and cycling. The Lechhöhenweg leads along the Lech to Burggen. You will find unique landscapes on this path, with rare plants and wonderful views of the Lech and the Alps.
