Etappe 5, Nordschleife, Heilige Landschaft Pfaffenwinkel - Von Pähl nach Weilheim

Way description: We start our tour in Pähl, follow the signs and leave the town heading south, where we enjoy a wonderful view of the landscape ahead of us. We cross the Kinschbach, pass under the B2 and reach Wilzhofen. We walk past the mill and follow Hollerbergstraße, which leads us uphill into the forest. After about one and a half kilometers, we come to the beautifully situated Aloisius Chapel. After a brief visit, we continue to the Moosschwaige estate. Here we keep left and walk a short distance along the edge of the forest. Shortly afterwards, we can make a worthwhile detour to the Hardt Chapel or take the actual path southwards, which leads us across the Hardt meadows through the unique Hardt landscape to the farm of the same name. Shortly afterwards, we reach Marnbach. We cross the small village and leave it in a south-westerly direction to reach Deutenhausen. From here, we pass a wayside cross with a rest area and finally through the forest to the Gögerl, from where we enjoy a beautiful view of Weilheim and Polling. Via Trogerstraße, a small path and Rastkapellenstraße, we pass the Rastkapelle chapel and cross the Angerbach stream. Along the cemetery with the church of St. Salvator, which is well worth seeing, we finally reach the town center and Marienplatz in the old town.
