The quiet forest paths and narrow meadow trails to Hetten are a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle on the ridge. Back to the summit, we follow the path uphill past the Herz-Jesu chapel. On the Hoher Peißenberg, you can experience the buildings of the mountain peak in a picturesque Alpine setting with a magnificent view of the pre-Alpine landscape. The observatory and the educational weather trail take younger visitors in particular into the interesting world of weather and climate.

Author's tip: The sun terrace of the Bayerischer Rigi restaurant offers an outstanding view of the Alps.
