This sculpture Galician poet playwright and Valle-Inclan is made in bronze by the sculptor César Lombera and is on the Paseo de los Leones del Parque de la Alameda de Santiago in January 1999.
This is a sculpture that represents the perfect way to be the writer, as he lovingly Valle sat on that bench to admire the Cathedral when I lived in Santiago. Many tourists take advantage of this sculpture for a photo with the writer and also admire the views from the same place from which he did.
As a curiosity: the writer's glasses are welded bronze from time to time to be periodically torn by vandals.
