O Curruncho picnic area is one of the most significant places in Sada, not only due to its beauty but also for the leisure opportunities it offers.
Every 18th August (last day of the local San Roque fiestas) the traditional Gran Sardiñada -declared of National Tourist Interest- is held. There you can eat delicious grilled sardines with broa (typical Galician corn bread) and local wine. Although it is a gastronomic fiesta, popular games and aquatic competitions are scheduled during the day in the As Delicias Beach, which provides access to the picnic area.
Mar de Sada Route
You are at the start of the Mar de Sada (Sada Sea) route, a lovely tour of the town's coast self-guided through QR codes. Search for the codes along the promenade and discover the typical fishermen's districts, marinas and fishing ports, idyllic beaches and the best establishments to take a break and sample the local cuisine. Follow the route and experience true nautical and seafaring tourism.!
Mar de Sada is an initiative of the Town Council of Sada and funded by the Xunta de Galicia through the GAC2- Golfo Ártabro Action Group.
