Description

This building was one of the 18th century extensions of the castle .

At that time it was the granary, a municipal building that served as a granary. In 1989 it was restored and transformed into the municipal library, preserving the original structure and interior arches . In this library we can see, in addition to a large number of volumes and original manuscripts such as criminal records, bank statements ... a portfolio of engravings by the local artist Antonio Quintana in collaboration with the Nobel Prize winner Vicente Alexandre from Los Episodios. National works signed by the same author, as well as works by famous Iznajeños such as Cristóbal de Castro.
