The Allos Pass is a mountain pass in the Southern Alps , located in the French department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region .
Connecting the valley of Ubaye to the north, to that of Verdon , to the south, the pass culminates at 2,247 meters above sea level, at the limit of the communes of Allos and Uvernet-Fours . It is located between the mountains of Pelat and Trois-Evêchés , near the source of the Verdon .
Located on the route des Grandes Alpes , the road has an average gradient of 5.5%, with maxima at 9% and is open from May to October.
