Description

At an altitude of about 720 meters between wooded slopes lies the town of Ax Les Thermes. At this town the rivers Lauze and Oriege meet. Ax Les Thermes was already known to the Romans as a seaside resort. Today, sixty different hot springs can still be found, some with temperatures above 75 degrees. There is a lot to do in the area and it is a great area for the sporty holidaymaker to make beautiful mountain walks.
