The Marteville communal cemetery includes a plot of land with a little over 70 graves. Of these, 67 are identified, although some of the tombs in aisle A are identified by a list of names for several tombs. In addition to this list, there is the mention "Buried near this place"
It was after the occupation of the village of Attilly in April 1917 that burials in the Marteville Communal Cemetery began. They continued the following month and then in January, March, September and October 1918.
Among the soldiers buried there are one French and one German.
A special memorial was also erected to represent a grave destroyed by a shell.
