This church has a roman foudation conserved many elements from its construction, particularly on the chevet and on the western frontage with a bell gable on the top. 1685 is written on the door of the southern frontge : the church was enlarged then. The apse is semi circular and vaulted, narrower than the nave topped with a roof.
The church was restored in 1855. The roman portal openning to the western frontage is framed by 6 columns with capitals. The archvolt and the voussoir are decorated with geometric patterns covering the statues of the Virgin and St-Peter.
