This pink sandstone menhir, 5 meters high, has its origin in the Druidic period where it would have been used as a sacrificial stone. Later, in 1170, it was used as a boundary stone between Alsace and Lorraine. Since 1787, on its 4 faces are the twelve apostles. The coat of arms of the Dukes of Lorraine and the date 1609 can also be seen.
