EGLISE NOTRE-DAME-AU-CIERGE

This impressive place of light leaves no visitor indifferent: spirituality bursts out here through a festival of colours, particularly thanks to the side panels made of cobblestones where blue and red dominate. The dazzling glass roof, the work of master glassmaker Gabriel Loire, is the largest figurative stained glass window in France. It represents the life of the Virgin.
Built between 1956 and 1958 after the bombing of the station district in 1944, this church is the symbol of the reconstruction of Epinal. Very visited, the building is classified since 2014.
