L'Étang de St-Estèphe, which has been set up for swimming during the summer season, is a place that offers a variety of outdoor sports possibilities: mountain bike handling courses, archery, orienteering, ...
The Saint-Estèphe reservoir contributes to the large complex of large lakes of the Périgord Vert which are used by migratory birds as a stopover during their journey, as well as during wintering. It is during this season that we will make the most of this site. During a harsh winter, you may have the chance to observe the common loon.
Osprey and Tern are regularly observed here on migration, and more sedentary species such as the Black Woodpecker or the Wagtail may also be sought after.
