The chapel of St Nicolas d'Haranbeltz, restored a few years ago, is located in the hamlet of Haranbeltz in the commune of Ostabat. It dates from the 12th and 13th centuries and is one of the most precious witnesses to the history of the jackfarm in Lower Navarre. It is easily reached by car on the road that links Saint-Palais to Saint-Jean Pied de Port or on foot on the GR 65, which is one of the routes to Santiago de Compostela that crosses the Basque Country.
