As we see it today, the castle was built at the very beginning of the 17th century and has not undergone any significant changes since then. It is a real center of life where the Anglade family resides.
Its large square courtyard, framed by five pavilions with Perigordian roofs, opens onto the vineyard which already existed in the 17th century.
The terrace of the castle dominates the river Isle with at its feet a mill which is an important factory built in the middle of the 18th century. Today it houses the headquarters of a family-owned industrial group Abzac S.A..
The whole of this architectural heritage, which the Anglade family maintains with passion, is classified as a Historic Monument.
