Not far from the former priory of Précy-Notre-Dame, the elegantly shaped church of Précy-Saint-Martin, with its half-timbered porch and cemetery, is an ensemble of exceptional interest.
The church belonged to the distant abbey of Montier-en-Der, but its features, notably its slender bell tower, are typical of the religious architecture of southern Champagne.
A wealth of 16th and 17th century furnishings adds to the interest of this monument, which is visited by a large number of tourists.
The building is modest in size, measuring just 33 meters from east to west, including the porch.
Beautiful 16th-century stained-glass windows are visible.
