This 11th-century building is the only one in the region to have preserved all its Romanesque and Gothic features. It was embellished in the 16th century with a three-bay nave, framed by 17th-century northern chapels and a 16th-century southern aisle, while retaining its Romanesque triumphal arch style.
The church is home to a number of listed buildings. These include the 15th- or 16th-century Saint-Robert de Molesme, a stained-glass window depicting the Champagne coat of arms, a 17th-century lectern with eagle in the choir, a 16th-century cast-iron stoup at the entrance, and many others.
Numerous works have been carried out over the years, including renovation of the Sacré-C?ur altar, the barrel vaults (part of which collapsed in 1984), restoration of the three altars and re-roofing.
