Description

The Aven Grotte Nouvelle de Vallon is a famous cave for cavers in the immediate vicinity of Vallon Pont d'Arc. The cave is frequently visited, but you do need climbing equipment for a secured descent.

The cave starts with an oval opening directly on a walking path with a diameter of about 1 meter.

There are various floor plans available on the internet. Immediately after the entrance there is a kind of staircase constructed which descends considerably. So it is not smart to enter here.

The entrance to this cave can be visited as part of "Expedition Grotte des Deux Avens".
