Welcome to Bernard’s place in Cassen, in Chalosse. He has two self-catering cottages adjoining his home. You can take advantage of the covered terrace, the grilling stone and the private garden. Sun loungers are at your disposal for complete relaxation. Did you say “relax”? The baths in Préchacq-les-Bains (idea for spa treatments) is 6 kilometres away, offering body and pool packages. For the shops, you will need to go to Montfort-en-Chalosse (6 kilometres away) or Pontonx-sur-l’Adour (7 kilometres), although Cassen itself has two restaurants (the inn at La Déesse des Gourmets and Le Croque Maïs) and pizza for takeaway from Pizz’à Gégé. There are also hiking and mountain biking trails and an orienteering leisure area in Cassen (kits available for sale at the Montfort Tourist Office for €1). Bonus: WiFi access and dining venues.
