Of the old church, attested to in the Middle Ages and burned down during the night of November 14-15, 1944, only the porch-tower and the stair tower from the 18th century have been preserved and integrated into the reconstruction. The bell of 1731, is classified as a movable object.
It is a T-shaped church with a single vessel and a false transept for the side chapels, leaning against the old porch tower (topped with a bulbous roof). The sides of the nave are pierced with small round-headed bays. The basement houses a chapel, the catechism rooms and a boiler room under the choir.
