Built in 1658 by the inhabitants of the village, its exterior architecture is very plain with an imperial-style roof. The reasons for its construction remain mysterious and vary according to sources. It is said to be a thanksgiving to the Virgin Mary by the population at the end of the Thirty Years' War and epidemics; a vow made by a soldier who had escaped serious danger, or the commemoration of the place where a Lord of Rodemack, wanting to escape from his aggressors, jumped with his horse from the rock where the chapel is currently erected, and was thus saved.
