Located in the heart of the village of Maxey, this reception and service area is free of charge. Nearby playground, picnic table, an ideal place to take a break in a camper van.
Maxey sur Meuse is a charming village located on the banks of the Meuse river, into which the Vair, the Roises and two small streams, the Vau and Blanchonrupt, flow. A paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Walkers are not to be outdone when they go to the Beauregard plateau. The wild and unspoilt aspect of the site, the changing greens of the limestone lawn and the silhouettes of the pines create an unexpected southern atmosphere. The Notre Dame de Beauregard Chapel, like a lighthouse on the tip of the plateau, adds to the serenity of the place. Here, the space is open to the story of Joan of Arc. Her village, Domremy la Pucelle and the Bois Chenu basilica dedicated to the saint are clearly visible on the other bank of the Meuse.
