Located at the entrance to the town center, near the historic site of the Jeanne d'Albret tower, the medieval-inspired garden offers 4 specific areas over a surface area of 2800 m2, on the banks of the Vienne river:
the Herbularium (medicinal and aromatic plants)
the Hortus (vegetable and aromatic plants)
the Viridarium (fruit trees)
le Jardin de Marie (pleasure garden)
This public green space is also an educational and pedagogical garden, accessible to all and open to schools. It is also a genuine tool for promoting sustainable development: preserving biodiversity through the cultivation of old, hardy and resistant varieties of vegetables and fruit trees adapted to the region, conserving old varieties, presenting local medicinal plants to the public, using cultivation techniques that respect mankind
