Back to the school benches ... of our grandparents! It is not a history lesson that awaits you in these restored 20th century classrooms but a real plunge into the heart of the past century. Thanks to the different thematic rooms of the museum, you will discover old agricultural machines and tools, as well as old forgotten trades such as wheelwrights, basket makers, coopers..
This museum, located in the old girls' school of the village, is developed and maintained by the SHAG (Society of History and Archeology of Grosbliederstroff).
Also on the programme: geology and other archaeological specificities of the commune, religious practices in the region, the war of 1870 and two world conflicts which strongly marked the locality.
