Description

The gîte "Le Castrum" is located in an old house overlooking the esplanade of the village of FAGET and anchored on the old medieval fortified square. The thickness of some walls and the loopholes remind the ancient origins of the place
The village is part of the "pays de Cocagne" within the "triangle of blue gold" linking Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region full of history linked to the culture and the flourishing trade of woad in the 14th century.
