In Panneçot, on the banks of the Canal du Nivernais, in a peaceful, bucolic setting, from July to August, the association Le Barrage invites you to come and discover its ZAD: Zone d'Animations Décalées. This cultural venue is housed in a former sawmill. In addition to the regular evening entertainment on offer (concerts, shows, theatre, etc.), there's also a small water sports centre where you can take a canoe, pedalo or paddle on the River Aron.
There are also two introductory courses for mountain biking, tree climbing, zip lines, a biodiversity area and a shared garden.
The site is also close to the Canal du Nivernais cycle route, with a cycle centre available during your stopover.
Finally, this site is a starting point for a dozen or so fully signposted walks and hikes.
