From the church of Saint-Martin de Cilly to the fortified church of Bosmont, the route borrows, after a slight continuous climb, the crest of a wide ridge crowned by the farms of Balthazard and Labry. After the many viewpoints overlooking the Serre valley, the path descends to the village of Bosmont, stronghold of Jacques de Chambly, who colonized Canada in 1665 on the orders of Colbert.
