Description by the author

Bastia is a French city located on the island of Corsica, just 50 kilometers away from the Italian island of Elba. The city was founded by the Genoese in the 14th century and the old part of the city, with its narrow streets, still bears witness to this. In addition to the old part of town, the new part is also visited during this walk, with the Place St. Nicolas occupying a special place. The walk starts there and ends there so that you can rest on one of the many terraces after a nice discovery through the city.
