Tourists are attracted to the remains of two of the best-preserved brochs of Scotland: Dun Telve and Dun Troddan.

A broch is an old fortress of about 2000 years old. It is unclear who built them and why. It is probably created by the Picts or the Painted People before “the Scots” were here.

What’s peculiar is that the walls are hollow. What’s also peculiar that you can find these brochs all over Scotland which adds to the mystery of these mysterious buildings.
