From Rhyd Ddu train station to Beddgelert train station via most of the extended Lon Las Gwyrfai (which skirts Llyn y Gadair) and taking in most of the Derwen Forest track (which goes past Llyn Llywenan). This route can be combined with a trip on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland train. (e.g. train from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu, cycle down to Beddgelert, then take the train back from Beddgelert to Caernarfon). Cycle route length 9.5 miles
