This hike leads you first of all to the very interesting excavations of the acropolis of Skárkos. Then you continue with a beautiful trail (marked by trail markers [1]) through the interior of the island of Ios. You arrive at Elliniká, from where you should follow the paved road to the chapel of Agia Triáda. A gravel road then leads you up to the monastery of Agios Prokópios and finally you can return to Chóra by following a nice path.
