Porpetto is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 50 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres south of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,717 and an area of 19.7 square kilometres .
The municipality of Porpetto contains the frazioni Castello, Corgnolo, Foredana and Pampaluna.
The river Corno crosses the city.
